Cold process is the original method for soap making, going back centuries. I have perfected our natural vegetable oil-based recipe which contributes to a super moisturizing and skin-loving bar. Most commercial soaps replace these natural oils with cheaper synthetic ingredients, which may be why glycerin or cold process bars last longer and are preferred to commercial soaps.
